A Letter From Our President
Dear Martin County Resident:
Our time line of progress for the MartinCounty OHV Club is critical!
For this dream of having a well run riding facility in our own county we will need to be in a position in the spring of 2009 to apply for State and Federal grant monies. Grant money is key to our success! But until that becomes a reality we can only rely on local support to keep the process rolling today. That give us approximately six months to show the County, State and Federal governments how dedicated we are to this sport as a club.
What’s it going to take?
For Martin County OHV Club to get to the position of having a land lease agreement with the county we are going to need at least $50,000 to carry expenses to the end of February 2009 when grant money can take over. This figure will cover the cost of attorney’s fees, land planning expenses, grant writing, promotion and fund raising costs.
If we can get 40 corporate sponsors at the $500 level and 500 personal donations at the $75 level (of course, any larger donation will be very much appreciated) then we will more than meet this goal with a few dollars to spare for unanticipated expenses.
