How can I Help?
While the Club needs your financial support, we also need your time and talent.
Citrus Off Road Park needs to fill several committee positions. If you are talented in a particular area and can give your time to this worthy cause it would be a tremendous help.
Many areas need committee chair persons in order to organize particular activities. Below is a list of just a few urgent ones. As a committee chair person you will be asked to attend bi-weekly meetings and be responsible for moving your particular task forward by advising the board and actively working to get the facility up and running.
These positions will be strictly volunteer at this time and are un-paid, however they do have the potential to evolve into paid positions after the riding area opens and becomes financially stable.
Look over the list and see if anything appeals to you. If you have other talents that may benefit the project you are welcome to submit them as well.
Fund Raiser- Manage all fund raising activities, log all donations and send out tax deductible receipts.
Attorney - Act as advisor to the board in legal matters. Not expected to provide legal services but to look out for potential issues that could effect the club
Accountant - A CPA able to keep the books and records for the club, must be versed in non profit corporations
Safety Officer - To be in charge of all safety related issues, to set up and schedule all medics and to advise the board in all safety protocol
Membership Director - To manage the data base of all members and to communicate with members via email or web site.
I.T. person - To manage the web site, make changes and advise the board in all matters related to the web site.
There are many additional positions that will need to be filled as the club moves closer to opening the tracks, keep an eye on the web site for updates.
